Multitasking
Sometimes when I am trying to get my life in order it feels like I'm doing too many things.
Sometimes the only way to get through rehearsal is with Goldfish 🐟
In regards to the summer coming, it's now time to look for apartments and it's also time to CONTINUE to pound the pavement. In the past two months I have sent out numerous emails requesting auditions and feeling worried that my dreams won't come true. (In all reality... Much like I've told myself - and you - for not even a year back in the city, I have made some wonderful progress). Much to my excitement, I have a chorus audition approaching with Opera Philadelphia. The most important thing I must do is go in with confidence and sing with MY voice. I am also excited for my audition coming up later this month for the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia. It would be so wonderful to be able to join them as a core singer. The current Artistic Director arrived at Temple University the year after I graduated and it would be great to get the opportunity to work with him.
View from the table - Staging day 1
In other news, staging rehearsals have begun for The Merry Wives of Windsor. I am so excited for the progress this show is making. It promises to be hysterical. I must make sure that I start making some more Merry Wives - specific blogs with photos and other things. Hopefully I will have that directly.
Until next time!
