Accessibility, Equity, and Inclusion
Singing is a fundamental human expression, and vocal training should be accessible to all who wish to learn. The Wilber Voice Studio is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment where students of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities can explore and develop their voices.
We recognize that traditional music education has not always been equitable or accessible. To address this, we incorporate principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to support diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the resources they need to succeed. Lessons are adapted to accommodate physical, sensory, and cognitive needs, with flexible teaching approaches that honor each individual’s unique path.
Working towards Personal Training Certification, I aim to prioritize the physical well-being of singers by integrating movement, breath work, and healthy vocal practices tailored to different body types and abilities. Learning environments are designed to be physically accessible, and we work together to create sustainable habits that support long-term vocal and overall health.
By embracing diversity in all its forms and breaking down barriers to classical singing, this studio is committed to making music education a space where all voices are heard, valued, and empowered.
