More about Amelia
i love singing…
Growing up in a musical household, it became clear from an early age that music was going to be prevalent in my life. I started playing the violin at age 3 (it was a box and I was EXCELLENT), I started playing the cello at age 10, and not too long after that, I joined a college preparatory choir in Philadelphia.
Joining that choir inspired me in so many ways. It gave me first hand experience with musical excellence, having the opportunity to work with organizations like The Philadelphia Orchestra and The Philly Pops during my time there. It wasn’t too much of a surprise to my family when I decided to take voice lessons OR when I went to music school a few years later.
Going to music school and pursuing my passion has given me some incredible opportunities as well as some memories that will be with me forever. It has also inspired a my love of helping others find their voices.
